    Neon Chapel was born from a simple belief: weddings don't need to be big to be meaningful. In fact, the best ones rarely are.

  • Here's what we kept hearing from couples:

    "I don't want 200 people at my wedding."
    "I don't want to spend a year planning."
    "I just want to show up, say my vows, and actually enjoy the day."
    "I didn’t get a chance to enjoy my own wedding"

    And yet, the wedding industry kept selling the same script: big venues, long guest lists, endless vendor coordination, stress spirals over napkin colours.

    So we built something different.

    The Neon Chapel is PEC’s first venue designed exclusively for intimate weddings. We're talking 20-50 guests. All-inclusive packages. A space that feels like you—not like a generic ballroom or your aunt's country club.

    We're not a DIY space where you have to bring in 47 vendors and pray everything comes together. We're not a boring ballroom with beige walls and fluorescent lighting. And we're not trying to upsell you on things you don't need.

    We're an all-inclusive intimate wedding venue. That means you get the space, the coordination, the curated vibe, and the peace of mind—all in one package.

Meet the FOUNDER

Meet Megan, founder, 15-season wedding veteran, and proof that timing really is everything.

About Us

For more than 15 wedding seasons, Megan Whalen-Craig has designed, planned, coordinated, and managed weddings, guiding couples from first inquiry to last call and everything in between.

She loved the work. But she didn't always love what she was seeing.

Too often, weddings were constrained by tradition, performance, and rigid expectations, whether it was a Pintrest board or a great-aunt that needed appeasing. Love (real, joyful, inclusive love) was treated like an afterthought. Megan knew there was room for something better.

So she built it.

Neon Chapel is what happens when someone who believes fiercely in love decides to create the venue she always wished existed. It's a space designed with intention, warmth, and care, and it prioritizes people over rules, meaning over spectacle, and connection over convention.

It's a space that celebrates love loudly and unapologetically, in ALL its forms.

A space that feels welcoming, effortless, and deeply personal.

The Sound of Neon Chapel

Every great celebration needs someone reading the room. Ilon Tyan, a DJ and live event producer with more than 20 years behind the booth across weddings, nightlife, and live events, serves as Neon Chapel's resident DJ and advisor. He helps shape the energy, the music, and the moments that make a Neon Chapel celebration feel like a party, not a production.

Our Mission

To make intimate weddings in PEC and Ottawa feel easy, elevated, and unmistakably yours. Couples should never have to choose between celebrating their love and a down payment on a home. We celebrate love in all forms - we do not trat your love story like an accomodation.

And yes, this is a love story.
