We are not a barn. We are not a ballroom. We are not a winery wedding in sensible shoes. But if you want to get hitched with us and then head off to a more traditional reception somewhere else in the County? Gorgeous. We love a plot with multiple locations.

Neon Chapel is for lovers; queer lovers, straight lovers, second-time-around lovers, wildly-in-love lovers, “we met on the internet and now look at us” lovers. If you’re getting married because the love is real, you belong here.

Your wedding will never be treated like a “special request,” a side note, or something we need to tiptoe around. We celebrate LGBTQ+ weddings with the same joy, care, champagne energy, and chapel sparkle as every other wedding.

We’re intentionally built for intimate weddings, so our sweet spot is 20–55 guests.

That’s where the chapel does her best work; full of your favourite people, close enough to catch the vows, the happy tears, the end of the aisle tequila shot, and that electric little holy hell, we’re married feeling.

Want it tiny? We have an elopement package for just the two of you and two witnesses. You can bring your own, or we can provide them.

Thinking closer to 60 guests? Let’s talk. We’ve got a little shimmy room depending on the style of your day.

But if you’re planning a 120-person wedding, we’re probably not your chapel. That’s not quite our vibe but we’re happy to recommend some amazing larger spaces in the area.

The truth, babe: "We kept it tiny on purpose."
Here's a script that works: "We wanted to actually be present at our own wedding, so we kept it to our closest people — but we'd love to celebrate with you at [the after-party / a dinner / literally any patio in the County]." The people who love you will get it. The ones who make it weird were going to make something weird anyway.

Bonus: an intimate wedding means nobody's at Table 14 wondering why they came. Everyone in the room is a main character.

Every Neon Chapel micro wedding package starts with the good stuff: your legal officiation, the chapel space, all the delicious little details already inside it — glassware, décor, jukebox, and basic music setup — plus professional day-of coordination so nobody is wandering around holding a clipboard and a stress rash.

Depending on the package you choose, we also include the bigger party pieces: DJ service, food and drink, florals, and more of the bells, whistles, and champagne-soaked magic.

The goal? You make the fun decisions. We handle the moving parts.

To secure your date, we require a deposit. The deposit percentage will depend on your chosen package.

The Quickie & The Chapel Classic - 50% deposit required

The County Takeover & The Whole Damn Thing - 25% deposit required

After that, we split the remaining balance into equal monthly payments, so your wedding doesn’t hit your bank account like a surprise confetti cannon.

Your final payment is due 30 days before your event. Nice and tidy. Very grown-up. Still cute.

All payment details will be clearly outlined when you book, so everyone knows what’s due, when it’s due, and nobody has to decode a spreadsheet under emotional distress.

Any extra “vendors” you hire through us, such as the DJ, Florals, Decor, Performers etc are paid out by us - you have one bill!

Heck yes. Weekday weddings are wildly overlooked and they can really add a special touch to an anniversary date or a holiday!

They’re usually easier to book, just as meaningful, and sometimes even better suited for the kind of intimate, no-fuss, full-feeling celebration Neon Chapel does best.

If you’re flexible on your date, a weekday wedding or elopement might be your secret little golden ticket - more availability, a calmer pace, and possibly a few perks we won’t shout too loudly about in front of the Saturday crowd.

Our founder and resident party-maker, Ilon, once DJ’d a wedding on a Monday and fully expected polite weekday energy. Instead? One of the best weddings of the season.

So yes. Monday can marry. Tuesday can party. Wednesday can absolutely wear the dress. If you’re looking for a holiday wedding, such as NYE or Halloween, we’re fully on board with that idea too!

For anything already included in your package, we use our tried and true, trusted vendors, the people we know, love, and trust to make the day feel smooth, stylish, and wildly un-chaotic.

Want to bring your own personal vendor for something that’s already included, like photography in one of our larger packages? Go for it. Just know the package price stays the same, because those services are already baked into the experience.

For the extras? That’s where things get fun.

We’ll happily point you toward our favourite local magic-makers: tiny tattoos down the street, burgers from Harry’s, tacos from Condesa, pizza from Bloomfield’s Darlings, local ice cream, live guest portraits, and other delicious little add-ons that make your wedding feel like yours.

We’ve got the little black book. You bring the plot twist.

Not quite, sugar, we are not a bring-your-own-booze venue - the bar is handled!

Our bar list has been a true labour of love, and our bartenders know her inside and out… the cocktails, the pours, the timing, the whole beautiful little ritual of it all.

All alcohol must be supplied and served through Neon Chapel and our licensed bar team. It keeps everything seamless, legal, delicious, and safely out of “Uncle Jim brought a cooler” territory.

That said, if there’s a special bottle, family favourite, signature drink, or must-have sip you’re dreaming about, tell us. We’re happy to work with you and our suppliers to see what we can bring in for your day.

You bring the toast. We’ll handle the pour.

Intimate weddings may be smaller, but they move fast, especially in peak County season from June through October. If you have your heart set on a specific date, a Saturday, or one of those golden late-summer weekends that makes everyone lose their minds, book early.

Planning in the next 3–6 months? Reach out ASAP. We can be surprisingly nimble, and last-minute magic is absolutely our love language when the calendar allows.

Basically: if you want your dream date, don’t flirt with it from across the room. Claim it.

Plans change. Life gets weird. Sometimes the plot twist arrives before the wedding does.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, we’ll walk you through your options with as much clarity and humanity as possible. We’re not here to punish people for real life being real life but we do have to protect the date, the team, and the tiny chapel machine already in motion.

Honestly? We keep marrying people.

A lot of County weddings depend on stunning outdoor spaces — and we love that for them until the sky gets moody, the wind starts acting up, or the forecast decides to become everyone’s unpaid wedding planner.

Neon Chapel is fully indoors, fully styled, and ready to go rain or shine. No frantic tent calls. No ceremony chairs sinking into the lawn. No emergency “Plan B” that feels suspiciously like a hallway.

The chapel stays cute. The vows stay on. The disco balls remain emotionally available.

If you’re planning outdoor photos before or after, we recommend having a backup plan. But inside Neon Chapel? The weather can throw her little tantrum somewhere else.

One of the perks of a small wedding? Fewer cars, fewer headaches, fewer people circling the block like they’re in a very low-stakes parade.

We have private parking behind the chapel for approximately 8 vehicles, plus one spot right out front of the building. There’s also plenty of street parking and lots in the area for any overflow.

For slightly larger guest counts, we always recommend a little carpooling, cab-sharing, or designated-driver coordination. Romantic? Maybe not. Useful? Extremely.

Heck yes. We are a pet-friendly wedding venue!

Dogs, tiny tuxedos, flower-pup energy, emotional support gremlins, we are very much into it. Honestly, if someone asked us to host a dog wedding, we’d probably start sketching the signage before they finished the sentence.

That said, pets need to be comfortable around people, supervised at all times, and cleaned up after, because glamorous does not mean feral.

Yes, and this is where Mrs. Peachum gets to loosen her corset a little.

When the chapel isn’t busy marrying lovers, Mrs. Peachum’s County Getaway would be delighted to host your other wedding-adjacent mischief: rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, post-wedding brunches, bachelorettes, intimate dinners, cocktail nights, after-parties, and general “we’re in the County and we look hot” gatherings.

Think less banquet hall side quest, more private little County fever dream with cocktails, snacks, good lighting, and a guest list that knows how to behave or at least photograph well.

Already in the County? Pop by during our public open hours to peek around, sample something delicious, and maybe have a cocktail… or two with Mrs Peachum (our lovely appointed host). We don’t judge. We encourage hydration with personality.

We're on Main Street in Wellington, which means your wedding isn't happening in a field twenty minutes from anything — it's happening in the middle of a village where your guests can walk out our door and immediately find coffee, tacos, wine, beer, breakfast, a beach, and a tattoo they'll have to explain later.

Here's the neighbourhood:

Rise Coffee House — Where your people will end up the morning after, quietly reassembling themselves. Good coffee, no judgment.

Creekside Café — Big plates, bennys, waffles. Walk-ins only, so send the crew early and tell them it's a group activity, not a suggestion.

Midtown Brewing Co. — The pre-wedding pint, the post-wedding pint, and the "we're not ready for this to end" pint. Local beer, walking distance, zero effort.

La Condesa — Mexican food and a serious tequila and mezcal list. The obvious answer for a rehearsal dinner, a welcome party, or the moment someone says "should we get one more round?"

Decanter PEC — A boutique wine bar and shop on Main run by actual sommeliers, pouring small-batch Ontario bottles you won't find at the LCBO. Send your wine-person friends here and they'll thank you at the speeches.

The Everything Shop — For the thing you forgot. There's always a thing you forgot. Somebody's shoes, somebody's gift, somebody's emergency sunglasses.

Song Bird Tattoo Shop — We're not saying you should get matching wedding tattoos. We're saying it's right there and people have made worse decisions at weddings.

The Wellington Beach — Lake Ontario, a short walk from the chapel. Picnic tables, washrooms, and the best free photo backdrop in the village. Great for the morning of, the day after, and the guests who need ten quiet minutes.

And that's just this block. You're also in the middle of Prince Edward County, so the wineries, Sand Banks National Park, the cheese, the farm stands and the whole County Sunday-drive situation are all a short hop away.

Translation: you don't have to build a weekend itinerary from scratch. Your guests can arrive Friday, wander for two days, and leave thinking they discovered somewhere. We'll happily point them at our favourites — just ask.

Then the whole County opens up — and you don't have to drive it.

We can connect you with driving services, whether that's something luxurious and black-car quiet, or a vintage VW bus that turns the ride itself into part of the wedding. Your guests get to drink, you get photos nobody else has, and not one person has to be the designated hero.

Norman Hardie Winery & Vineyard — One of the County's best-known vineyards, and the wood-fired pizza in the yard is a whole afternoon on its own.

Flame + Smith — Woodfire cooking in Bloomfield, from people who believe food tastes better cooked over an actual fire. They're Rainbow Registry accredited too, which matters to us and might matter to you. Evenings only, closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays — book ahead.

Darling's Pizza — For the night before, the night after, or the moment a group of adults collectively decides that pizza is the correct answer. It usually is.

Fiasco Snack Bar — Snacks, drinks, and the kind of room where "one quick stop" turns into three hours with some cool records on the turntable. Worth the detour, worth telling your friends about later.

Tell us what your crowd is into — wine people, food people, "we just want a patio" people — and we'll build you a short list and sort out the ride.

Wellington is small and walkable, which means your guests can stay here and never touch a car all weekend. In addition to our bridal suite, there are a few cozy spots you can book up.

Wellington Willows — A boutique B&B at 341 Main, a few doors down from the chapel, so nobody's calling a cab at midnight. Beautiful suites, a properly gourmet breakfast, and enough of a reputation that it's been ranked the County's #1 inn on TripAdvisor. This is where you put the parents, the in-laws, or anyone you want quietly impressed. Two-night minimum, so it suits the Friday-to-Sunday crowd — and it books out fast in season, so send them the link the day you set your date.

Creekside Suites — Steps from breakfast, which is the whole point.

The Lakeside Motel — A modern take on the classic weekend getaway, at 349 Main, same street as us, on the water. Eleven rooms plus two rental houses, a licensed pool, a sauna, cabanas, firepits, bike rentals and a waterfront restaurant looking out at Lake Ontario. If you want most of your guest list sleeping under one roof and swimming by noon the next day, start here.

Wander The Resort — Ten Nordic-design cabins on West Lake in Bloomfield, with a private beach, a lakefront Nordic spa, a sauna, a pool, and a restaurant (Gather) that people drive in for. Condé Nast named it one of the year's most exciting hotel openings when it launched. This is the splurge — the honeymoon-adjacent, "we're staying two extra days" option, and a five-minute drive back into Wellington.

Beyond those, the village is stacked with guest suites, cottages and rentals within a few minutes of the chapel. Book early for June-through-October weekends; the County fills up, and your aunt will not be gracious about a forty-minute drive.
