SALES AND MARKETING MIESTRO

One chapel open. Another on the way. And we're just getting started!

Neon Chapel was never meant to be a one-chapel wonder.

With our Prince Edward County chapel officially open and Ottawa already underway, we're growing our team alongside our growing collection of chapels.

We're looking for a commercially minded, creatively inclined, exceptionally organized human to join us as our Sales, Marketing & Events Manager.

Someone who knows how to sell an experience, make a little noise, create opportunities and occasionally run the whole fabulous show.

This is a role we've always envisioned as part of our growth, and we're excited to bring the right person into the fold.

TWO BRANDS. ONE FABULOUS ADDRESS.

Before we get into the nitty-gritty, a little introduction to the two personalities you'll be working with.

NEON CHAPEL -For the wildly, wonderfully, unapologetically in love.

Neon Chapel is our modern take on the wedding chapel. Think intimate weddings, elopements and celebrations that throw out the traditional rulebook in favour of something a whole lot more personal, memorable and fun.

From quick, intimate ceremonies to larger celebrations, we've created a collection of wedding experiences that make getting married feel exciting, effortless and entirely your own.

Our first location is open in Prince Edward County, our Ottawa chapel is already underway, and we're building Neon Chapel into a multi-location wedding brand.

This is our primary sales focus. Growing wedding bookings, developing referral relationships and introducing more couples to the Neon Chapel experience will be at the heart of your role.

MRS. PEACHUM'S COUNTY GETAWAYA little glamour. A little mischief. A very good time.

Mrs. Peachum's is the hospitality personality behind our Prince Edward County space.

She's a little theatrical, a little unconventional and rather fond of a fabulous gathering.

Beyond weddings, Mrs. Peachum's brings the venue to life through private celebrations, corporate gatherings, creative events and curated experiences that give people another reason to come together.

It's an opportunity to develop additional revenue streams, build relationships within the County and create experiences that complement our wedding business.

This is where your event sales, marketing creativity and occasional on-site management come into play.

HOW THEY WORK TOGETHER

Two distinct brands, sharing one space, one team and a commitment to exceptional hospitality.

Neon Chapel leads the wedding business. Mrs. Peachum's creates opportunities beyond the altar.

Your role will help both brands grow, while ensuring each maintains its own personality, audience and purpose.

THE GIG

SELL THE DREAM.

Weddings are the heart of Neon Chapel, and you'll play a leading role in growing our bookings, revenue and industry presence.

You'll take the lead on wedding and event sales, developing opportunities, building relationships and creating an exceptional experience for couples from their first inquiry to their signed contract.

Working alongside co-founder Megan, who brings more than 15 years of experience in weddings, hospitality and events, you'll have the freedom to shape our sales approach, introduce new ideas and build the relationships that drive our next stage of growth.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading the full wedding and event sales process, from inquiries and venue tours to proposals, follow-ups and confirmed bookings.

  • Developing new business through proactive outreach, strategic partnerships, referrals and industry relationships.

  • Building a strong network of planners, photographers, accommodations, tourism partners and other referral sources.

  • Creating memorable experiences for prospective clients that reflect everything Neon Chapel stands for.

  • Managing and improving our CRM, sales pipeline, conversion processes and reporting.

  • Identifying opportunities for profitable private events, corporate gatherings and partnerships that complement our wedding business through the Mrs Peachum’s brand.

We're looking for someone who brings experience, commercial instincts and the confidence to make things happen. Someone who can develop a strategy, execute it and measure its success.

You'll have genuine ownership of the sales function, the trust to lead it and the support of an experienced team who are just as invested in its success as you are.

We're not looking for someone who waits for the phone to ring. We want someone who knows how to make it ring.

MAKE SOME NOISE.

Marketing is a major part of this role, and we're looking for someone who can bring both strategic thinking and creative execution to the table.

You'll lead the day-to-day marketing for Neon Chapel and Mrs. Peachum's County Getaway, shaping campaigns, developing content and finding compelling ways to introduce our brands to new audiences.

You'll collaborate closely with co-founder Ilon, an experienced Marketing Director, combining your expertise and creative instincts to build marketing that's distinctive, consistent and commercially effective.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing marketing strategies, campaigns and promotions across both brands.

  • Leading our social media presence, content planning and day-to-day digital marketing.

  • Creating and producing engaging content, including photography, Reels, short-form video, graphics and written copy.

  • Developing email campaigns, lead-generation initiatives and creative collaborations.

  • Identifying partnerships and opportunities that build awareness and drive inquiries.

  • Overseeing digital marketing performance, reporting on results and refining campaigns to improve conversions.

  • Maintaining and evolving the distinct voices, visual identities and personalities of Neon Chapel and Mrs. Peachum's.

This is a hands-on leadership role. We want someone who can think strategically, make decisions and roll up their sleeves to bring ideas to life.

You'll have the autonomy to lead, the opportunity to make a genuine impact and the benefit of working alongside founders who understand both the creative and commercial sides of building a brand.

Pretty is lovely. Pretty that converts is even better.

RUN THE SHOW.

While sales and marketing will be your primary focus, there will also be occasions when we need someone we trust to independently oversee events at Peachums.

A networking evening. A private celebration. A corporate gathering. Whatever the occasion, you'll be the person making sure everything runs beautifully when we're not there.

You'll be:

  • Opening, preparing and closing the venue for select events.

  • Acting as the primary on-site contact for event organizers, guests and vendors.

  • Coordinating staff, service, vendors and event timelines.

  • Ensuring the experience reflects the hospitality standards of Neon Chapel and Mrs. Peachum's.

  • Troubleshooting issues and making sound decisions within established guidelines.

  • Ensuring the venue is properly secured and any post-event details are communicated.

These event shifts will be additional paid hours, scheduled according to bookings and business needs. They won't necessarily happen every week.

You won't be expected to personally run every event. But when you're running the show, we need to know it's in excellent hands.

HELP BUILD WHAT'S NEXT.

We're not talking about expansion as a someday-maybe idea.

Our Prince Edward County chapel is open, Ottawa is already in development, and we're building Neon Chapel as a multi-location wedding brand.

As we grow, the systems, relationships and processes we establish now will help shape how future chapels operate.

You'll work directly with our founders to improve sales processes, develop marketing strategies, establish systems and contribute ideas that support that growth.

For the right person, this role could evolve into a senior leadership position supporting multiple Neon Chapel locations, helping launch new chapels, developing teams and overseeing sales and operations across the brand.

Future opportunities will depend on business growth and individual performance, but our expansion is already underway.

We're looking for someone who wants to be part of building the company, not simply working in it.

YOU MIGHT BE OUR PERSON IF...

  • You have proven experience in sales or business development and genuinely enjoy closing.

  • You're confident creating social media content, including Reels, photography, copy and campaigns …not just planning them.

  • You understand how to connect marketing efforts to actual business results.

  • You're organized, independent and comfortable taking ownership without constant direction.

  • You have excellent hospitality instincts and the confidence to manage an event on your own.

  • You bring ideas, initiative, good judgment and a sense of humour.

  • You're excited about joining a growing business and potentially growing into a leadership role alongside it.

Experience in weddings, events, hospitality or premium services is a definite asset. But we're more interested in what you've accomplished than where you've worked.
